Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your KäpaKohting / Dog Dates account and all data associated with it at any time.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Account deletion request".
- If you signed in with Google or Facebook, please mention which method you used, so we can locate your account.
- We will confirm your identity if needed, then permanently delete your account, profile (name, dog's details, avatar), and any meetups you organized within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account (email/password or linked Google/Facebook sign-in)
- Your profile: display name, dog's name, dog size, avatar, bio
- Meetups you created
- Your participation record in other users' meetups
Some minimal information may be retained briefly in backups or logs for security and legal purposes before being purged in the normal course of our data retention cycle.
Removing just the Facebook or Google connection
If you only want to disconnect your Facebook or Google sign-in without deleting your account entirely, let us know in your email and we'll help you switch to email/password sign-in instead.
